laws relating to treason

by Big Daz

When two people clink their glasses together in a “cheers” without dedicating the drink, they are by default drinking to the Monarch. To not drink to a toast is an insult, and to insult the Monarch is treasonous.

There has been some discussion regarding at what point someone can be deemed to have not taken a drink. When seated, if the glass touches the table without a drink being taken then clearly the toast has been shunned. When standing, things seem less clear, and there was some argument (particularly by the traitor Began) as to when this has occurred. After careful consideration and some consultation it has been determined that a cheers has been deemed to have been shunned when the forearm reaches the horizontal without a drink having been taken.

These things become much more serious on the Queen’s Birthday, when an insult to the Monarch moves from merely treasonous to, simply and gravely, treason. Care must be taken to avoid committing treason on this day and so one must drink whenever cheersed. The penalty for treason on the Queen’s Birthday is execution by bullet into the motor cortex. Whilst relatively painless, this method of execution can be traumatic for the family, both at the moment of loss and also six to eight weeks later when they receive the bill from Her Majesty for the cost of the bullet.

I think a good gift for the President would be a chocolate revolver. And since he's so busy, you'd probably have to run up to him real quick and hand it to him.
